Oh Melaka..!!

Its been quite a time that i didn't update my blog. I kinda busy lately since I'm not longer in Machang. I've been transferred to other campus which located in Melaka. That's what my new post is going to be all about Melaka. lol.
Nothing much to tell actually. Just that my new campus is in the city. Its quite near with the tourism places. The funny thing is i don't explore yet all the places even though they said that the places just near my hostel.
So this is my story in Melaka.
The new day in Melaka, we decide to go around and we found the famous Kg. Morten. Its an unique place. With such a small population, it has a great attraction from the tourists and locals. So this is the picture of it.
Anyway, the houses they kinda look good too. Very patriotic with all the flags and big sign of 1Malaysia. I named them Merdeka house. lol. No wonder it is such a great place to visit. This is one of the houses that are very unique.
Basically, i can see my new campus (KBM) from my hostel. But with lots of things in the middle. haha. Its kinda unlucky for me coz beside my hostel is a temple. And i heard kinda 'noises' from them. But I'm getting used to it now. This is the pic that i took from my hostel kinda ugly when i 'decorate' it using photoscape. lol
Well, there's UiTM KBM. Then AYaM (stands for Apartment Yayasan Melaka) and river beside my hostel. Since, i don't know what else i should share, maybe its time should stop writing. I'll continue next time. In the mean time, enjoy the life =)

~new life in new campus~

I'm aware that life must go on and you can't stay on the same place forever. However, i wish that I'm strong enough to face the new challenge that come in my life. Recently, I'd changed campus. Since I'm not longer a diploma student so they change me to other campus.I got changed to Machang campus which is in Kelantan. when I first knew that I got to go to Kelantan, I almost cried (I did cried actually). First, I don't like this state. I also got the news that they are not active in English debate. So I start writing a letter, asking to change campus. Unfortunately, its not that easy.
Since I don't hear any news from the main campus, so I have to come here. The first day here,I almost cried again in front of my family. I really don't want to stay here. but I know I cant get everything that I want. So I stay here. then, I meet new friends in my new house that I rent. they are from Sabah, Perak, Pahang etc. The funny thing is that I don't make friends with Kelantanese..hahaha
fireworks during the celebration in the campus
On the first day there, I don't know much about the campus. One thing that I'm very sure, the campus has lots of money to be waste for that fireworks (a really mean statement)..hahaha..Actually there's a Eid's celebration in the campus. however, since I dint know about that..So we didn't attend the event. the night kinda busy with people dressing good to join the event. But for me and my friends, we just saw that from outside. (sounds pity but actually we are having fun like that..hahaha)
First week, i just spent with nothing..Everyday went to the Head of Programme's room (KP).Need to settle lots of things. My study plan are not correct (until now). My credit transfer for certain subjects and I cant even register the courses that I need to take this semester. So until Thursday, we(me and my friends) just wasting time like that at the administration building.Lastly, we taking picture in front of our Rector's room..haha
Machang campus Rector's room
Unfortunately, its not enough. We still bored with the administration here. They are so out dated. Still doing things manually and wasting our time.So lastly,we just playing at that building like crazy people..haha
she's my friend from Sabah
So this is my new friend from Sabah. Still can pose for the cam even though on phone. hehe. At this time, she'd been complaining about the 'crazy' admin to her friend on the phone. and I think everyone on the floor can hear her voice..haha
trying to give cute pose..hehe
This is my friend since high school. Lucky for us that we get here together. Actually in this picture, she's trying to hide her shoes..hahaha..Coz she's wearing ladies sandals (something that she rarely do it)..That's why she's trying to give a 'cute' pose when i snap the picture..hahaha
3 feets..

Lastly, we took picture of our feet..hahaha..Since there's nothing to do so we need to cheer up ourselves. Actually we kinda fed up with the admin and at that time we were so frustrated with the people from HEA(academic's department). So on the way back, we took this picture. And there are kinda lots of people watching us at the time..hahaha.. The best thing is that you can clearly see the shoes that my friend trying to hide in the previous picture..haha
just do it for fun.
Lastly, because I'm too bored at room, I start edit all the pictures that I took.So there are some of pictures that I post here in this post.Unfortunately, 2 weeks here..I'm not just complaining about being bored but also about money that flowing like water from my purse..haha..hope can adapt with a new life here. =)

~the day~

this is us. :D

What do u think this post is all about? Sorry if any of you guess its a wedding coz its not. Yes, this us ( me, my brothers and my sisters) taking picture. Unfortunately this just an engagement day. I guess you already know which one is getting engaged that day (coz of the clothes). Basically, this post is about my sister's engagement day. She is the first in the family that engaged so her day kinda up sided down.
First, the man behind everything is my own brother. He's the one who cook for the guests that came that day, he also create that clothes that my sis wear that day and he also prepared 'hantaran' that are needed and lastly, he also became a make up artist for that day. haha. That's quite a lot of things that he did but he managed to do all of them.
Basically, in Islam whenever 2 person (man and woman) promise to get married, it already consider as engaged. However, in Malay culture its kinda different. The promise is still there but the culture also let the family get to know the bride first. In the ceremony, both families will decide when the wedding will be held and how long the engagement will be going on and also the money that will be involve. They also some relatives and friends called to make the day more glorious.
the 'hantaran'
So, this is the 'hantaran' that I've been talking about. These made by both my sister and my brother (90% made by my brother). There are quite a lot coz whatever number that been sent by the other side, we must add another 2 extra. So here are 11 things. There are cake, chocolate, perfume, fruits, shirts and foods etc. However there is 1 thing that catch everyone attention that day and I think it already got your attention when you look at the picture above. Yes, that cupcakes. The color red and white really make it the star of that day and I;m proud to say that I also help in the decoration works for those cupcakes. hehe. So, here the better look for the 'star' that had became the hot topic.
star of the day ;)
Unfortunately, the closer picture doesn't look that good. The water from strawberries already came out and can be clearly seen on that white cream. Nothing can be done coz the fridge is not working due to blackout for almost 5hours. The weather also not helping. Its was so hot and without electricity was a totally disaster. Lucky for us when everything went well even though there are somethings that not uncontrolled happened that day. Right now, my sis is happy with her fiance and I hope they will get married soon.
you can see the differences by yourself..haha
I'm sure my sis will kill me for posting this picture. But where's the fun if there's nothing to tease.hehe. The 'before' picture was taken by me few hours for the engagement ceremony when we are soo hot. While the 'after' picture was taken during the ceremony when my sis already been make up by unprofessional make up artist a.k.a. my brother. hahaha. Anyway, sorry sis cz i did what i promised which is make the before & after picture and whats the point making it without sharing it with people. That's why i post it. *evil laugh

~Oh... Raya..~

these pictures are taken during Eid and this is my family =)

Eid ul-Fitr.. Everyone is waiting for that moment. Not just the children but also adults. Its been celebrate by all Muslims all around the world. Its a sign of celebration after fasting for a month. Its also a day that most people are encouraged to forgive. However, different countries celebrate it in different ways depends on the cultures.
In Malaysia, the celebration is kinda different. People are eager to buy new clothes to wear on the first day of Syawal. Its fun to watch the children wearing new and colorful clothes. Then people will be busy to go with the tradition of 'balik kampung'. Basically, those people that working far from hometown will be back for the celebration. Its like a time for family gathering. So, its also a time to visit the relatives and friends that long time didn't met. As for children, they all will be looking for 'duit raya'. Its like a contest among them to see who get lots of 'duit raya'. But its fun, coz this is the time to teach them to start saving or value each cent they get.
During my childhood, its kinda fun becoz I have kinda crazy brothers that teach me play lots of things. Usually at night, we will play the small fireworks and we even compete with neighbors. See who have a better fireworks. On the first day, we will wear our new clothes and will go visit neighbor just to get 'duit raya'. The house that give quite a lot money will be mark as the house we should be given priority in our house list next year while the house that give the least money will be blacklist from our list..haha..It is funny but as for children, 'duit raya' is our biggest priority! hehe..
fancy picture can't hide the value inside..haha

This year is kinda different for me. First, I'm not a kid that waiting for 'duit raya'( even though i got quite a lot from my family..hehe) and I also afraid that the kids will ask it from me. haha. Its also kinda crazy for me coz i didn't prepared much. Just have 2 'baju kurung' that I bought the fabric long time ago. No new jeans like always or new shirts. But its already more than enough for me( coz im not a big favor of baju kurung). Basically, 'raya' for us is just for gathering coz even we are in the same house, fighting a lot doesn't help to be closer.
we are the daughters in the family =)

MAYBE..

Maybe...
we were suppose to meet the wrong people before meeting the right one so that,
when we finally meet the right person,
we will know how to be grateful for that gift.

Maybe...
it is true that we don't know what we have until we lose it,
but it is also true that we don't know what we have been missing till it arrives.

Maybe...
the brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past;
after all, you can't go on successfully in life until you let go of your past mistakes,
failures and heartaches.

Maybe...
you should hope for enough happiness to make you sweet,
enough trials to make you strong,
enough sorrow to keep you human,
and enough hope to make you happy.

Maybe...
the best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with,
never say a word,
and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

Maybe...
Happiness waits for all those who cry, all those who hurt,
all those who have searched, and all those who have tried,
for only they can appreciate the importance of all the people who have touched their lives.

Maybe...
you should do something nice for someone every single day,
even if it is simply to leave them alone.

Maybe...
there are moments in life when you miss someone..
a parent, a spouse, a friend, a child..
so much that you want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real,
so that once they are around you appreciate them more.

Maybe...
giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they will love you back.
Don't expect love in return;
just wait for it to grow in their heart;
but, if it doesn't,
be content that it grew in yours.

Maybe...
you should dream what you want to dream;
go where you want to go; be what you want to be;
because you only have one life and one chance to do all the things you dream of ,
and want to do.
Enjoy every moment!!

Back to the old times...

This is the photo when i was young. This is during my brother's birthday which i forgot which one. Everything looks fun at this time and lots of our friends and cousins came to join us. We are so happy and enjoy every moment  that we have. Just miss the old time and wish that i can stay there forever. :)
Well, there's nothing much i can tell here but there are few photo's that i can show that i took from the album.
loving brothers ;)
These are my brothers. They are more like twins because their age different is so close and they also close to each other. Now they all big and matured (i hope so) they have their own lives.
'Shut up sis! stay still.. ' ;)
Both are my sisters. I'm not even born yet at this time. They look just lovely at this time but sure they also have their own problems while growing up. I think all of us will face the same thing. They have their own life now, career and personal lives. Still, i have to face them everyday until I'm gone to my hostel. haha
So, this is us when we are growing up. The photo was took during the Eid, and we are at our aunt's house. The best thing is that the girls all ready with a cute handbag to collect our 'duit raya' from people. haha. Well, its fun to look back at old photos and remember the memories. How i miss our mischievousness at that time. Its hard for us to hang out together now (we only have the chance during the Eid) cause everyone are busy with their own careers. But we are still 'naughty' when we are together now..haha ;)
I know the kids in the photos are adorable but can you find me? (i know its not that hard..haha ) :D

English oh english..

today, all of sudden i feel like wanna read something.so i remembered that i have a blog that i updated last month. i open the blog n browse the posts that i have..reading all of them make me laugh..how silly n stupid i sounds at the time..
n the best part is i realize how many errors that i had made in all the posts..even most of the people says i had done well in english, but realizing that i made these stupid mistakes really a BIG NO to myself..like my school teacher always says, 'its a major grammatical error". so it seems like im not good enough in using the language..
so, what i can do now is be careful when i use the language so that i wont repeat the same mistakes again and again..
(im sure i made at least a mistake in this post too..haha..well, im just a human who make mistakes.)

Debate again...

its been almost a year and half that i become a debater.yet i still not dare to call myself as a debater..the reasons are.. 1st: i lost in most of the tournament i went.. 2nd:i still not sure which speaker role i should take..so 1 thing for sure my role structure is suck.. 3rd: i don't really know how to do a deep analysis about the motion/the case that we are debating. 4th: sometimes i didn't make a case that what the motion is about.. n last but not least.. i really have problem with doing EXPLAINATION..and i really hate the word '1 liner'..haha.
but everything is quite okay now..sine i myself can the the improvement in me..however i still not satisfied with my performances..how i wish i can have a trainer to train me and everyday debate training...so that i can improve myself quickly..i just hate being a liability to my teammates.. just don't think its fair for them to set up all the case while all i did there was listening to them..
this year experience was better than last year.. i start the training with new title..as a new secretary for English Debate Team!! I know the works already waiting for me as soon i accept the responsibility..as i expected, i have to make paperwork to go to the tournament in Shah Alam.. Alamdulillah, everything went well..i dont really have problem with student affairs department in my university..unfortunately, i did have problems with my 'beloved' captain..looks like he left everything for me to settle..however, i should thanked him for all the experiences i went through..and i also thanked my juniors for showing me who they really r..n warned me who I'm dealing with, so that i can be more prepared..
suddenly i heard that we are going to Malaysia Debate Open (MDO)..n 1 thing for sure, im the one who's going to do the paperwork..with just 2 weeks left, i was like crazy to settle everything..plus the intensive training that we have to attend since its an international tournament...i proud with myself that i can face everything..what make things worse, the English debaters have to handle the booth during the carnival in the same week...but i thanked my co-captain very much for his help..we divide all the works because we don't have much time..n we still have classes to attend + intensive trainings + regular trainings + a booth..and there's a time i think i should quit debate...yet I'm proud to say that I'm still in debate team today!!
but i believe everything i go through today will pay off in the long run. Eventhough the week before going there was hectic but its was the best moment and the best experience ever in my life..the most fun tournament ever that I'd went.. I made friends with some Japanese, Koreans, Filipinos and people from Macau (even i did go against with team from Kazakhstan but i don't really like them..haha) n i also get closer with debaters from Malaysia since we are in the same community..so it all worth the hardship that we went through..
Unfortunate for us, as soon as we back from there...there's lots of test n assignments waiting for us..but that's a life of a student..the best thing is i just realize that my semester is going to end soon...n i have to work hard to ensure that i still in the dean's list..i won't give my sister any chance to blame debate for my suck result because she don't want me to join debate since the day i become apart of debate club..
i really hope i can improve myself n be in a level of what a debater should be..so that someday i will win something or at least break to octo final..
